I prefer not to play them at all in tourneys or cash games, sometimes I do when I am in position but it still freaks me out to press raise with them. In heads up games I have no problems playing a 9, I might be hesitent to stay in the pot too long with 98 or if the other player called with my 9 is not showing. But if I am raised when showing a 9 my experience is that that is ussually pretty good for me since most people automatically bet against a 9.</description>
